Questions? Clear and simple.
Common questions about Circuit Draft, drafts versus publishing, API scopes, creator access, and data.
Does Circuit Draft publish videos to TikTok?
No. It only creates inbox drafts on the creator’s own personal TikTok account via TikTok’s Content Posting API. The creator must open the draft in TikTok, finish the caption/product details, and publish there — or discard it.
What is the difference between a draft and a live post?
A draft sits in that creator’s own TikTok inbox until the creator acts on it. A live post is published from inside TikTok after that human review. Circuit Draft never skips that step.
Which TikTok scopes does Circuit Draft use?
user.info.basic (to identify the creator’s own personal TikTok account) and video.upload (to send an inbox draft to that same account). It does not request video.publish.
Does it Direct Post or spend money?
No. Circuit Draft never Direct Posts, never runs ads, and never initiates spend. Publishing and any paid activity — if ever needed — would be done by a person in TikTok, outside this product.
Who can use Circuit Draft?
Independent TikTok creators who voluntarily join the Circuit Studios creator network and promote Circuit Home / Circuit Style Shop catalogs. Each creator signs in with TikTok Login Kit using only their own personal creator TikTok account. Circuit Draft is a SaaS-style tool for those creators — not personal use by Andrew, not internal company tooling, not uploading to brand accounts Circuit Studios manages, and not a dashboard that displays/monitors posts from team-managed accounts.
What data do you handle?
OAuth tokens for connected accounts, basic display name / open_id, video files provided for upload, and upload logs (video name, brand, product, status, publish_id). Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Can a creator disconnect TikTok access?
Yes. Creators may revoke access at any time from TikTok’s app settings. Tokens are kept only while accounts stay connected for Circuit Draft draft uploads.
Is this website a login page for the app?
No. This site explains Circuit Studios LLC, our brands, and how Circuit Draft works for creators. OAuth happens through TikTok Login Kit when a creator connects their own personal creator TikTok account — not as the homepage of sflcircuitstudios.com.
